I will get by the Dead sing in Touch of Grey…it’s on my iTunes right now…I used to watch it when the Dead played it out in California….Nancy and I saw it for the first time on the East Coast when they played it in Portland, Maine…it was one of our theme songs…we had it on car bumper sticker which was up on the wall at the apartment I had on Pemberton Street in Worcester which I shared with Jim Powers and Big Guy…crazy times… struggling for identity…inventing constant problems for ourselves..constant drugs and constant sex….how fun…

in the imagination of the ‘qua
the frozen tongue of corporate america
has driven far into exile in sand pit
of my thoughts
like a delusional monkey
I began to binge to the center of the universe
to see if I could obiliterate my senses
and the stink of memory that permeated
the fiber of my deepest being
down on the street existing with all sorts
of hallucinated monsters
oxygen sucking mugwumps
sucking out the core of your being
there was no choice accept to go
further in the ol’ kesey trip
the further you go
the closer you are
